Richard Storer

10 Jan 1965 - 20 Feb 2023

Richard was very much loved and admired by his family and friends. He loved music - rock, folk, AOR, progressive rock, his beloved heavy metal and all genres in between. He also had an excellent voice for the occasional hymn and used to be a chorister in his younger days! He was extremely warm and approachable, with a sometimes laddish but always irrepressible sense of humour and zest for life that led him and his friends into escapades and adventures in their younger days! His rocking road trips were legendary. As a gardener, he was in the right profession because he had a deep appreciation and love of nature and all living things. His gardens were beautiful and he took much pride in putting living diaries of them up on Facebook for all his friends to see. Richard's quick wit and ever-present puns that had people helpless with laughter belied a deep intelligence, an astute ability to assess people, and a kindness that went beyond. He never judged; he only ever accepted people on face value. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him, and was taken too soon.
