I’ll be cycling the Newcastle Cyclone 65 Mile Challenge in aid of Melanoma UK.

Having being diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma myself at age of 20, I was fortunate enough to receive the support and treatment required to make a full recovery and recently celebrated 10 years all clear however a lot of people diagnosed with this disease are not quite as fortunate.

Melanoma diagnoses are increasing at epidemic rates and Melanoma is now the 5th most common cancer in the U.K. and also the deadliest form of Skin Cancer.

Melanoma UK relies solely on the generosity of donations and fundraising events across the country. All donations go to help finance new initiatives to heighten awareness of melanoma skin cancer, as well as support Melanoma UKs projects to provide information and support to patients and their caregivers.
