On Saturday the government published the PHE guidance for people most at risk of severe illness requiring hospitalisation if they catch coronavirus (Covid-19).

In addition to the guide, many patients have also received a letter from the NHS as they have been identified as being extremely vulnerable to coronavirus. This means that patients must stay at home at all times and avoid any face-to-face contact for at least 12 weeks.

We continue to receive calls and emails from patients and carers regarding the spread of COVID 19.  

Our medical advisors tell us that they are being presented in clinic with a lot of very concerned families who are asking a lot of questions about this issue. 

If you have any concerns please speak to your medical team.  Many clinicians are spending time talking through the issues with their patients.  There will be concerns around the issue of non-patients attending clinics with family members, and again, this is something that should be discussed with your medical advisors.
