I lost my Dad to stage 4 cancer Melanoma in September 2018. This disease took the strongest man I knew and reduced him down to nothing in a matter of weeks. My dad had only celebrated his 60th birthday that February.

I'll be running in memory of my Mum to help support patients and their families following diagnosis of Melanoma and to raise awareness of this type of cancer.
As a medical student with an interest in dermatology I wanted to raise money as part of my medical elective to help people affected by melanoma. I will be walking 500,000 steps over 30 days during my elective period (22nd July - 2nd September) and documenting my progress along the way, hoping to raise as much money as possible for a great cause!
In March 2022 my mother, Julie Crunkhorn, lost her battle with a rare Amelanotic Melanoma. So we would like to raise awareness as well as give back a little as treatment is evolving really quickly.

In 2011 Susan was diagnosed with melonoma cancer. The melonoma was removed and Susan was cancer free until 2022.
