It was a busy day for Melanoma UK on Monday (25.3.2019) with two very important meetings in London.

Meeting one was with COMARE (Committee On Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment). This is a meeting we have been waiting for for a while.

Later on Melanoma UK attended the APPGS (All Party Parliamentary Group on Skin). This was such a poignant meeting as MP, Chris Bryant was there. Chris was diagnosed with melanoma after his husband pointed out a mole on his head after he had his hair cut short for a holiday.

Meeting Chris was amazing and we have his full support for the ban to stop the use of commercial sunbeds in the UK.

More to follow on this subject so watch out for updates.          Chris Bryant sharing his melanoma journey with the attendees of APPGS
