Melanoma UK is trying to better understand challenges faced by melanoma patients on treatment and try to prioritise which of these challenges are most critical for our patient community. I am not clear on when to contact my Health Care Professional (HCP) for Adverse Event (AE) management
It’s difficult to identify changes in my temperature trends (if monitoring for pyrexia)
Monitoring my temperature or tracking other AEs while in treatment has/is interfering with my life
I would like to know more on AEs and how to identify and manage them
It’s difficult getting clear explanations on specific AEs when treatments are initiated (there are so many) so not sure what to monitor
I am afraid of reporting AEs because I may have to suspend or stop treatment
I am not clear on when I need to contact my HCPs
