Our dad was first diagnosed with Melanoma in 2011.

After having the all clear a couple of times, the cancer unfortunately came back and he was diagnosed with stage 4 in 2019. After taking on various treatments including, Braftovi and targeted immunotherapy, the cancer caused more damage by creating a blockage in his bowel.

He battled courageously for his three children and his loving parents. But unfortunately, our dad passed away on the 18th April 2021.

Melanoma UK does a fantastic job in not only raising money but raising awareness of the dangers of UV exposure.
