I am raising funds in support of Melanoma UK, and in memory of my brother-in-law, Lauz Glinn. Lauz was diagnosed with Melanoma in July 2020 after it was discovered he had a cancerous mole. This aggressive form of cancer can spread to other organs in the body. Although the initial removal of the mole was said to be successful, it was later discovered in October 2021 that this had spread to his lungs. Then in January 2022, this had spread to his brain. We sadly lost Lauz in February 2022 at the age of 31.

Lauz was, and continues to be known for his selflessness, kindness, and his humbleness. For me, Lauz spent hours cheering me on and being the greatest photographer in my first Brighton Marathon last year. I have chosen to do the Brighton Marathon this year for Melanoma UK, in hope to support their aims in improving research, education and advocacy.
