Melanoma UK was founded by Gillian Nuttall in 2008.

The purpose of Melanoma UK is to give patients and their families much needed support during the very difficult times faced upon diagnosis.

The vision of Melanoma UK is to increase the UK's awareness of melanoma, and its prevention through advocacy, education and research.

The impact Melanoma UK has had over the last decade has been game changing, such as helping make the cancer drug for advanced melanoma, known as Yervoy (Ipilimumab) free and accessible to people, therefore helping save countless lives.

Gillian has an army of volunteers and 5 full time staff. "We are a small but mighty team."

Melanoma UK does not receive any government or agency funding, so every penny received is donated by their amazing fund raisers, supporters and charity partners.
