To support in the fight against cancer
Most people are aware of the perils of cancer. Far fewer know more specifically about skin cancer (and how to reduce the chances of exposure etc.) and if doing this run for Melanoma UK raises awareness in addition to some cash then it cannot be a bad thing.
We both enjoy running for fun while at the same time fundraising and we’ve chosen Melanoma UK to raise money for Melanoma UK .
I was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in May 2018
I was diagnosed with Melanoma in April 2019 and am keen to raise money for this important charity by running The London Marathon.
On the 18th of March 2019 I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma (Skin Cancer), I was the lucky one and caught it early, others unfortunately don't receive the results I do and Melanoma UK helped to support me so now it is my turn to help and support them and others effected by Skin Cancer. So Ont 5th t' 7th July I will be riding 512km in 3 days for Melanoma UK Incorporating Factor 50 because To say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me over this year. Please help me raise as
I was diagnosed with melanoma in 2009 and didn't know what it meant. Had a relatively easy ride until May 2018 when it all kicked off. I found Melanoma UK and the moral support they provide to patients invaluable.
We see first hand the effects of melanoma and other skin cancers on a daily basis. More support and research is needed to help combat these conditions.
